About Sacbw Foundation Bursary

The SACBW Foundation funds academically deserving female Matric learners who need financial help to continue their studies. Run by the South African Council for Business Women, the Foundation focuses on developing young women into future business leaders and entrepreneurs, with a particular emphasis on commerce-related fields.

Because the bursary specifically targets Matric learners rather than students already at university, it's aimed at catching applicants at exactly the point where financial barriers most often stop capable students from continuing their education.

Funding Details

Bursary payments are made directly to your tertiary institution rather than to you personally. Successful applicants also receive the Youth Leader Award from the South African Council for Business Women, tying the funding to a broader recognition of your potential.

Where You Can Study

The SACBW Foundation doesn't publish a fixed list of approved institutions - what matters most is your intended field of study and your financial need, rather than which specific university or college you plan to attend.
