About Assmang Manganese Bursary
Assmang's Manganese Division, through its Black Rock Mine Operations 80km north-west of Kuruman in the Northern Cape, offers the ASSMANG Manganese Bursary Programme - one of South Africa's most comprehensive mining-sector bursaries, covering tuition, accommodation, prescribed books and a laptop for a small, highly selective group of students each year. Black Rock sits on one of the largest known high-grade manganese resources in the world, and the bursary is designed to secure the next generation of engineering, mining, geology, IT and environmental health professionals the operation depends on.
