About Cape Wools Sa Bursary Fund

Cape Wools SA, the official representative body of South Africa's wool industry, funds bursaries through its Wool Industry Bursary Trust for students pursuing careers in the wool and sheep industry or in textile and fashion design. Seeded in 2007 by a R200,000 donation from the Pecci family, the fund exists to attract new entrants into a small, specialised agricultural sector facing an ageing workforce.
