About Bankseta Letsema Learnership
The BANKSETA Letsema Learnership gives Grade 12 graduates a structured route into a banking career, combining theoretical study with practical workplace training over one year. BANKSETA is the Sector Education and Training Authority for the banking and microfinance sector, funding this and several other learnerships to build skills the industry needs.
Letsema focuses on entry-level banking and microfinance skills, making it a realistic option for matriculants who want to start a banking career without first completing a university degree.
Because the learnership leads to an NQF-registered qualification in Banking Service Advice, it gives participants a recognised credential, not just work experience, once they finish the programme.

Funding Details
Over the one-year programme, learners receive both theoretical and practical training, along with a monthly stipend to help cover living costs while they study and work.
