Western Cape

The Western Cape has a large share of the opportunities on this site. Its economy includes finance, technology, tourism, wine and fruit farming, and a number of the country's leading universities. The funding here comes from the provincial government, the City of Cape Town and other municipalities, and from companies, foundations and community organisations.

Many opportunities require you to live in the Western Cape or in a named area such as the Cape Town metropole, so keep proof of residence handy. Some target learners from specific communities or schools, and some support students who study at Western Cape institutions.
