The Academy of Digital Arts (ADA), trading as part of the wider Friends of Design group, is a Cape Town-based private higher education institution founded in 2006. ADA specialises in full-time and part-time training in graphic design, web design and development, motion graphics, and game and concept art, and also runs a corporate training division for businesses. It is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training, and its Higher Certificate qualifications are accredited by the Council on Higher Education and registered on the National Qualifications Framework at NQF Level 5.
ADA funds a small number of bursaries each year, including its "Fast Track" bursary programme in Advertising and Film, aimed at giving talented students who could not otherwise afford tuition access to its industry-standard creative training.
