Alfred Nzo District Municipality

Alfred Nzo District Municipality is a district municipality in the Eastern Cape, covering the local municipalities of Matatiele, Mbizana, Ntabankulu, and Umzimvubu. Named after ANC struggle veteran Alfred Nzo, the district serves a largely rural population across the region surrounding Mount Ayliff (EmaXesibeni). Like other South African municipalities, it offers bursaries to residents to build scarce skills relevant to local government and community development.
