The PN Foundation - also referred to as the Patrick Nndwamato Foundation - is a South African non-profit registered as a Public Benefit Organisation (PBO 930068093), based in Honeydew, Johannesburg. It was founded by Patrick Nndwamato after personally helping a student cover exam registration costs, and is focused on improving access to education for underprivileged youth in Gauteng and Limpopo.
The foundation's bursary programme is aimed specifically at students pursuing artisan trades - such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry and tailoring - at TVET colleges rather than universities, reflecting its broader mission of building a "college-ready culture" and equipping young people from disadvantaged backgrounds with practical, employable skills.
The PN Foundation is an entirely separate organisation from the HCI Foundation, the corporate social investment arm of Hosken Consolidated Investments (a gaming, media and hospitality group) - the two share no funding, governance or institutional relationship.
