SAIEE (the South African Institute of Electrical Engineers) is the professional body representing electrical, electronic, and computer engineers in Southern Africa, formed in 1909. Based in Observatory, Johannesburg, the institute supports professional development, standards, and continuing education for its members. SAIEE runs a bursary programme supporting students pursuing electrical and electronic engineering qualifications.
