About Absa Fellowship Scholarship Programme
The Absa Fellowship Programme is a fully-funded scholarship run by Absa for first-year undergraduates across ten African countries, pairing full funding with a structured Leadership Development Programme and direct mentorship from Absa leadership.
Apply as a citizen of any of ten eligible countries, not South Africa alone - this is one of the few genuinely pan-African scholarships on this site, open to applicants from South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, Mozambique, Tanzania, Mauritius, and Seychelles.
Funding Details
The fellowship covers full tuition fees, textbooks, educational equipment, a laptop, accommodation in university residence or private housing, a meal allowance, a monthly stipend, a monthly data allowance, and student medical aid cover - alongside a Leadership Development Programme and mentorship from Absa leadership and industry experts.

You must be a citizen of South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, Mozambique, Tanzania, Mauritius, or Seychelles, aged 18 to 25, with a Matric or equivalent average of at least 65%.
