About Emedia Bursary
The eMedia Bursary is offered by eMedia Investments, part of eMedia Holdings Limited, the media group behind e.tv and the eNCA news channel. The bursary is aimed at first-year students who are already registered, or intend to register, full-time for a degree or diploma in Television, Radio, Broadcasting or another media-related field at a recognised South African university.
The bursary covers tuition fees only. It does not cover accommodation, study materials, meals or other living expenses, so applicants typically need to arrange separate funding or support for those costs. Only a small number of bursaries are awarded each intake, and applicants who already hold other funding, including NSFAS, are not eligible.
