About Gert Johan Coetzee Bursary
The Gert-Johan Coetzee Bursary is funded by South African fashion designer Gert-Johan Coetzee in partnership with the North West School of Design (NWSD) in Klerksdorp. It covers three years of full-time Fashion Design study, and has been running since 2009.
The bursary is deliberately hands-on: recipients don't just receive tuition funding, they complete internship placements at Coetzee's design studio during college holidays, gaining direct industry exposure most fashion students never get during their studies.
Funding Details
