About Motsepe Foundation Bursary

The Motsepe Foundation Bursary funds Grade 12 learners and Matric graduates through the Motsepe Foundation, one of South Africa's largest private philanthropic organisations.

Meeting the minimum criteria doesn't guarantee funding, and university admission alone doesn't guarantee a bursary either - the Foundation receives significantly more qualifying applications than it can fund, so a genuinely strong, complete application matters as much as meeting the baseline requirements.

Funding Details

The Foundation funds study-related costs across Agriculture, Commerce, Computer Science & IT, Engineering, Humanities, and Media and Arts, though specific coverage depends on your individual award.

Where You Can Study

Any recognised South African tertiary institution qualifies, provided your field of study is one the Foundation supports.
