About Absa CSI Trust Graduate Historical Debt Relief Programme

The Absa CSI Trust Graduate Historical Debt Relief Programme clears outstanding student debt for STEM and digital/green economy graduates who completed their studies but can't obtain their qualification because of unpaid fees. Absa funds it; Feenix administers the application process on Absa's behalf.

Apply only once your studies are genuinely finished - this programme excludes anyone still registered or currently studying, and it's restricted to graduates from five specific universities: UL, UNIVEN, TUT, MUT, and UNIZULU.

Funding Details

The programme clears your outstanding historical student debt, unlocking your qualification so you can graduate and enter the job market. Absa also connects recipients with the Youth Employment Service (YES) to support the transition into employment.

You must have completed a STEM degree, or a qualification aligned to the Digital Economy or Green Economy, at the University of Limpopo (UL), University of Venda (UNIVEN), Tshwane University of Technology (TUT), Mangosuthu University of Technology (MUT), or University of Zululand (UNIZULU). You must be currently unemployed, not registered for further study, and have a total household income of less than R700,000 a year.
