Students at the Vaal University of Technology (VUT) use the ITS iEnabler for administration and registration, a student email account, and Vutela/Blackboard and Moodle for learning. The guidance below comes from VUT's IT Student Services page and its registration information.
The ITS iEnabler
ITS is VUT's administrative system, and the iEnabler is its student self-service portal. Log in with your student number and ITS PIN. Its menus include:

Registering online
Registration is completed online through the iEnabler, which works off campus, so you can register from anywhere. If you pay at an ABSA branch or ATM, pay at least an hour before you start registering. From another bank, pay at least 48 hours before.
Your student email
VUT gives students Google email accounts to collaborate with fellow students and academics. Your student email credentials also give you access to Microsoft Office 365.
Vutela/Blackboard and Moodle
Vutela/Blackboard is managed by VUT's Centre for Academic Development. For help, email vutela@vut.ac.za. Students with subjects on Moodle log in with their student email credentials: go to the VUT website, click Students, then VUT Moodle, and sign in with your email address and password.
Wi-Fi
On campus, you can connect to the Eduroam Wi-Fi network with your VUT login, and use Eduroam at any participating university you visit.
Password self-service
VUT's online password service lets you reset your own password if it is forgotten, expired or locked. First register your security questions, so that you can reset your password in future. Then use Reset Password when you need a new one.
Microsoft Office 365
VUT works with Microsoft to give students Office 365. Sign in with your VUT student email address and email password, and follow VUT's step-by-step guide if you get stuck.

VUT's forms for course cancellation, change of course, re-admission, additions and cancellations of subjects, studying at another institution and refunds are linked from its how to apply page.
What ITS covers
ITS brings most of VUT's administrative resources into one system, and each user's view is tailored to their role, so students see only the menus that apply to them.
Keep your PIN safe
Never share your ITS PIN or email password, and always use your student number when you contact VUT.
