Students at the University of Limpopo (UL) use the self-help iEnabler for applications and registration, the Turf Portal for residence applications, and myturf accounts for Microsoft 365, campus computers and Wi-Fi. The guidance below comes from UL's portal and registration notices.
The self-help iEnabler
Log in with your student number and your PIN. The PIN has five numeric digits and must not start with 0. Prospective students who are not yet registered can choose Apply on the same page. If you forget your PIN, enter your student number and request it, and UL sends it to your email.
Online registration
UL's registration is conducted online only. Once you are accepted, log in to the online platform and register for your qualification as soon as possible, because space is limited.
The Turf Portal
UL uses the Turf Portal for residence applications, where you log in with your student number and PIN.
Your myturf account
UL student accounts are active on the myturf domain, for both campus network access and cloud services. Use your myturf credentials to log in to:
- Microsoft 365 services, such as Outlook, OneDrive and Office apps
- Campus computers and printing services, with your printing balance carried over
- Eduroam Wi-Fi, using your email address and password
UL provides a login guide for myturf accounts.
Student email groups
Your myturf email can send to approved student group addresses for your faculty or school. Personal emails to these groups are approved only for research purposes, such as surveys, and emails from private accounts like Google or iCloud are not approved for group delivery.
Final results
You do not need to upload your final matric results to the portal. UL captures them automatically from the Department of Basic Education.
Stay safe
UL warns applicants about scams. It will never ask for your PIN or financial details, so never share your login details, passwords, one-time PINs or PINs with anyone.
